Lincoln Golf Club Seniors Christmas Charity Comp Wednesday 13 December 2023

28 cards were submitted today.  Gordon Peters, with an excellent score of 39 points was the winner.  An impressive sum of £180 was collected in entry fees. This sum will be donated to the charity of the winner’s choice.  In this case Gordon asked for the money to be given to the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance. Your Secretary was privileged to play today with Bill Sutton, Terry Knott and Brian George who all displayed their outstanding skill on the 12th.  This image shows just how close their tee shots landed to the flag.  Bill failed slightly in that he was the only one not to get any back spin!  Bill and Terry did manage to sink their putts for a 2.
