Every year we have played a Christmas Charity Competition. For many years, one of our stalwarts and a past Captain, Wally Holt, donned his Father Christmas outfit and royally entertained all those who remained in the bar afterwards.
By 2022, Wally had retired from golf and felt that he would like to leave a legacy. This came in the form of a quite magnificent trophy to be played for in the Christmas Charity Competition.
It was first played for in 2022 and the first winner was Richard Howgate.
